In our previous Infrequent Mailing we asked people to take interesting macro shots of everyday items. Here are our four winners. Identify what is shown in each of these photos are of and you could win some cool prizes.

Send your correct answers and/or complaints to and we'll randomly pick two people who get them right (if anyone does) and send them a limited-edition disc set of the Pixies from Japan, a copy of Selections from North America, from Dead Can Dance, a Field-Tested Books poster and book and whatever else we can find around the studio. Good luck.

A Thing We Made:
Field Notes

Field Notes Brand memo Books and more. "I'm not writing it down to remember it later. I'm writing it down to remember it now." A CP/DDC joint.

Some Other Things We Made:

We hated the options available for custom packaging DVDs and CDs so we created a brand that gives creative professionals and hobbyists the tools to make great stuff. Here's a bit from the latest Jewelboxing weblog entry:

"Clients are always stunned at the result, almost to the point of being speechless, shocked that their faces are so artfully placed on a professional DVD cover. I couldn't be happier with Jewelboxing and I think I can say the same thing for my clients as well." Read the entire post.

The Next Thing We're Making

72°: A Film Project is our attempt to create a short feature film starting with only a historical photograph and a lot of enthusiasm.

We are documenting the entire process and like our previous film, Copy Goes Here, we're also recruiting Executive Producers to give us a hand in exchange for a share of the glory and a lot of cool swag too.
