Eye: Mile Markers

Matt Frondorf drove from the Statue of Liberty to the Golden Gate Bridge. Mounted on his passenger side window was a Canon T-90, hooked up to his odometer and clicking off a frame for each mile of the 3304 mile journey. He didn't drive at night. The result is American Mile Markers, a timeline of photos and composite videos that spans the country. Frondorf calls the process "statistical photography" that presents "what is really there -every picture from beginning to end." One thing and a couple sentences in the morning.
